Community Shared Agriculture

What is Community Shared Agriculture (CSA)?

CSA is a direct link between a consumer and farmer. How it works is that you (the shareholder) purchase a ‘share’ of the harvest, before the season. Once the harvest begins, you receive a portion of yummy, organically grown produce each week. This saves you time you time because your produce is all gathered, fresh and ready to pick-up.

Members know where their food is grown, how is is grown and can be assured they will receive an array of healthy garden variety vegetables, using sustainable farming proctices, heirloom and organic varieties and never GMO’s.

How does Community Shared Agriculture support the Farmer?

The shareholder’s investment in a CSA provides the farmer with early resources to successfully grow produce season after season.  These resources include purchasing seeds and equipment upkeep before the season starts.
